Price-check: To Dream in Darkness
Checked 2026-10-24Full price-check in the queue. We've verified what this page shows (below) and nothing more — the remaining rows are marked “to check” rather than filled with guesses. Most queued titles are fully checked within 1–2 days of release.
| Way to get it | Cost | Wait / Keep? |
|---|---|---|
| Free — Libby / Hoopla (library) | To check | Library availability is checked per title — never assumed |
| Chirp deal (when on offer) | To check | No wait · yours to keep |
| Audible | 1 credit / check price | No wait · yours to keep |
| Libro.fm | To check | No wait · yours, supports a bookstore |
| Spotify Premium | To check — we never guess Spotify inclusion | Stream while subscribed · included hours expire monthly |
Audible cash prices are never hard-coded here: Amazon permits displayed prices only via its API with a timestamp, so this row is always “1 credit / check price”.
Listening note
St. Martin's Press / Macmillan Audio. Narrator verified-with-caveat from two independent non-publisher sources (ALC review via Macmillan Audio/NetGalley + LoveReading narrator page); checker confirms against the released Macmillan listing. A single-source length lead of approx. 12 hrs (NetGalley review) is NOT confirmed — length_hours stays null. Free route, prices, spotify_included to check.

This title is in our checking queue. When it's checked, this page gains dated prices for every store, the free-route answer, Spotify inclusion, and a one-line verdict. Until then: no invented numbers, ever.
